Lisa Says Gah Holiday 2019
Danielle Sarkissian worked in partnership with Berlin based artist Berry Aktuglu of Atelier Mave to execute illustrations of the 12 signs of the zodiac. The illustrations embody characteristics of the signs they represent while also implementing a little Gah! flair.
These art elements were utilized in the Lisa Says Gah Holiday 2019 capsule featuring embroidered t-shirts, embroidered tote bags, postcards, an art print, and a sticker pack.

Tell us about the mediums you choose to work with and why? What was your process when creating the zodiac “Gah!” illustrations for us?
“I started the Gah! Zodiac illustrations with my gouache paints, creating a story behind each woman linked to her zodiac characteristics. I wanted to convey the right emotions and colors that represent each sign so I modified the colors digitally after the illustrations were complete.”
